We all know that awful feeling when you can’t find your wedding ring. When you have put it somewhere and simply can’t remember where or when you drop it and for those awful few seconds can’t seem to find it.
Think how devastated a Dorset lifeboatman must have been, when 6 years ago he dropped his wedding ring when helping to launch a lifeboat in Weymouth Harbour all the way back in 2009.
Miraculously a friend spotted it 6 years later whilst walking at low tide, and it was returned to its rightful owner, much to his delight!
